Justin Long and Kate Bosworth, a dynamic duo on and off the screen, will star in the upcoming survival thriller Coyote. This will mark their first project together since their marriage in 2023. Both actors have co-starred in Barbarian (2022) and House of Darkness (2022) and gave standout performances. It will be exciting to see how these newlyweds step into a new kind of terror in this upcoming film, battling wildfire and a pack of rabid coyotes in none other than the Hollywood Hills.
The story follows a family’s fight for survival as a wildfire takes their home. This ultimately drives a pack of crazed coyotes their way. The film promises a mix of natural and animalistic threats, certainly pushing its characters and audiences to the edge.
There is an impressive lineup of creative talent for Coyote. It will be directed by Colin Minihan, who previously directed What Keeps You Alive and Grave Encounters. The film itself is based on a story by Daniel Meersand, Nick Simon, and Tad Daggerhart, all of which are experienced in thriller and horror. The script is written by Daggerhart and Simon.
The film is produced by Nathan Klingher (Land of Bad) and Ford Corbett for Gramercy Perk, along with James Harris (Fall) of TeaShop Productions and Jib Polhemus (Old Guy) of Source Management. Capstone Studios’ Roman Viaris and Ruzanna Kegeyan serve as executive producers alongside Jason Carpenter, Adam Mirels, Robbie Mirels, Tyler Gould, Michael Sklut, Nick Simon, Tad Daggerhart, and Jijo Reed.
“We are thrilled to be collaborating with Gramercy Park on this electrifying tale of a family facing dual threats from the firestorm threatening to engulf their home and a pack of hungry coyotes caught up in the maelstrom,” said Kegeyan. “We know that Justin and Kate are perfectly matched to bring this riveting tale to life.”
Fans should gear up for an intense ride as Coyote explores themes of survival, resilience, and the relentless force of nature, promising a gripping and emotional experience.
