The mind behind Mary Marcy Mae Marlene, Sean Durkin, has an exciting new project coming up. He will be helming the movie The Nest. Even better, Jude Law and Carrie Coon have signed on to act in it, Indie Wire reports.
The Nest follows Rory (Law), a business man from England. Though his family used to lived in the States, he brings them back to his home country. That way, he can have them alongside him as he works. Still, the move causes plenty of trouble for the family and “plunges them into the despair of an archaic 1980’s Britain.”
Coon, who plays Law’s wife, has made news recently. She will be portraying an ally of Thanos in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. It looks like she has this franchise in common with her new co-star, as Law himself will be appearing in Marvel film: Captain Marvel.
It’s been close to a decade since Durkin has directed a movie, and the fact that he’s got a great cast in store must be great for his fans to know. Still, he has been busy, producing a good number of films in the interim.
