Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage to star in Legendary Pictures Comedy ‘Brothers’

It is usually quite common for actors who are more serious in their roles or are known for action films to make a splash into a comedy at some point or another. Recent Infinity War co-stars Peter Dinklage and Josh Brolin are now set to work together again in new comedy known as Brothers, written by Tropic Thunder’s Etan Cohen.

Full plot details are still under wraps but the film is set to be tonally similar to the Ivan Reitman comedy Twins with Danny Devito and Arnold Schwarznegger. The film is a sibling rivalry picture with Dinklage and Brolin playing mischievous brothers. The two dramatic actors will be dealing with humorous conflicts with one another, making it a refreshing change that defies the typical expectations of the two actors’ oeuvres.

American Sniper producer Andrew Lazar will be producing with Cohen writing. Cohen’s writing credits include many recent comedies such as Holmes and Watson and Men in Black 3.

Dinklage recently appeared in sci-fi drama I Think We’re Alone Now and of course, Game of Thrones. Brolin had a strong presence this past summer with appearances in Infinity War, Deadpool 2, and Sicario: Day of the Soldado. This next project will likely not be hitting theaters for quite some time, but is sure to be a big name comedy of the season of its release.

Ryan Pineda: When it comes to film, animation, video games and other mediums, I can discuss for hours about how much on why certain films and animated media made me the person I am today. I adore the artistic merit that comes from a lot of pop-culture media and will definitely love to have a conversation about favorite movies any day! I have graduated in 2017 with a BA in Film and Television at the University of Arizona. Been passionate about writing about films due to always having an interesting outlook on the medium. Will always see a film and will definitely be sure to recommend it to someone that I know for a fact would love that movie. Not only that but will also give reasons for why I think that film did or did not work as a movie, and the same can go for other pieces of media like television, video games and especially animated projects.
