Jermaine Fowler Joins the Cast of ‘Coming 2 America’

Zamunda welcomes another fellow comedian as Jermaine Fowler becomes the most recent addition to Paramount’s upcoming Coming 2 America which is slated for August 7th 2020 release. Craig Brewer, who recently worked with Murphy on Rudy Ray Moore biopic entitled Dolemite Is My Name is directing the sequel. Fowler has experienced recent success in the short-lived series Superior Donuts alongside Judd Hirsh and Katey Sagal. Fowler also maintained roles in critically-acclaimed projects such as Buffaloed which he starred opposite Zoey Deutch and last year’s Sorry to Bother You. Fowler had another crack at television in the HBO comedy series Crashing and is currently developing and producing a television series alongside Larry Wilmore and Quinta Bronson for CBS entitled The Come Up.
