Jeremy Allen White Joins The Cast Of ‘The Mandalorian And Grogu’

Jeremy Allen White will be joining the cast of the upcoming Star Wars film The Mandalorian and Grogu. White is known for his Emmy-winning performance in The Bear. It is said that he will be voicing the son of Jabba the Hutt (Rotta the Hutt) in this new film. Rotta the Hutt has previously appeared in the animated movie The Clone Wars way back in 2008.

Jon Favreau will be directing the new Star Wars film. Its release is currently scheduled for May 22, 2026. It is a spin-off of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. The film will also be starring Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us) as well as Sigourney Weaver (Alien). This will be the first Star Wars film since Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019).

Currently, The Mandalorian has had three seasons on Disney+. It follows the story of Mando, a Mandalorian bounty hunter, who takes in and cares for the young alien Grogu (also known as Baby Yoda).

In addition to The Bear, White has appeared in the Showtime Series Shameless. He is also going to be in the Bruce Springsteen biopic Deliver Me. It will be very interesting to see White’s performance as Rotta the Hutt, who until now has only appeared as a young child in the franchise.
