Jennifer Love Hewitt is teaming up with Emmy-winner Keith David and Oscar-nominee Eric Roberts to star in the new live action family film Pups Alone. David and Roberts will play their roles on screen, while Love Hewitt is lending her voice to the picture.
VMI Worldwide plans on launching the movie to buyers at the upcoming virtual American Film Market. Production for Pups Alone is currently underway, but no release has been set.
“I have been working with Brandon on Pups for a few months now and I am excited to showcase the film to buyers,” CEO of VMI, Andre Relis said.
Alex Merkin is directing, with the script being co-written by Brandon Burrows and Jason Gruich. Burrows will also star in the film and produce under his Firebrand banner alongside Courtney Lauren Penn of Boundless Pictures. Jack Bowyer will serve as an executive producer.
“I couldn’t be happier than to have Jennifer, Keith, and Eric join Pups,” Burrows said. “They are going to bring their very special talents and unique voices to the project, and I can’t wait to see what they do with the material.”
Love Hewitt most recently starred in the FOX series 9-1-1, where she plays a 9-1-1 dispatcher in the Los Angeles Area.
