The Confines (formerly known as LOT 451) is an indie psychological urban- horror film from C Plus Pictures starring Jason Patric (Narc, The Lost Boys), Louisa Krause (Martha Marcy May Marlene, Young Adult) and Mark Margolis (The Wrestler, Breaking Bad).
The Confines marks the directorial debut of Eytan Rockaway, co-founder of A Matter of Substance, a media/entertainment entity. The script is by Israeli producer/director Ido Fluk (Never Too Late).
Krause plays Julia Streak, a young single mother struggling to make ends meet. She takes a job as a night security guard at a huge residential complex that (thanks to a busted economy) remains unoccupied. The underbelly of the complex has fallen into decay. Patric plays Cooper, her fellow rent-a-cop with a crusty demeanor who, along with a vagrant played by Margolis, decides to toy with Julia. The two terrorize her sanity and force her to face herself, the price all must pay for admission to The Confines.
Mike Landry and Carlos Velasquez are producing, with Ryan Charles Griffin and Claudia Bellante co-producing. Allen Loeb, Jeff Hoffman and Luigi Ghirardi are executive producers.
The film is in post-production with a release date expected soon.
