News of Jared Leto’s sexual misconduct allegations has begun to spread. During the waiting period, there has been talk about the Oscar winner’s standing in Hollywood, as he is set to play major roles in multiple high-profile films. Leto’s upcoming films include the long-awaited sequel to Tron, Tron: Ares, and Amazon’s Masters of the Universe. However, with these allegations, those films could be affected.

Promoting both upcoming movies could be problematic for Leto and the studios involved. Leto could end up being sidelined for promotional material, such as magazine cover pieces and television interviews. He is the lead actor in Tron: Ares and the main villain in Masters of the Universe. Leto is currently on tour with his band 30 Seconds to Mars, which is expected to last until the end of summer. Promotion for Tron: Ares would begin soon after the tour, ahead of its Oct. 10 release.

Industry insiders are now reportedly “wondering how he can shoulder the pressure of selling two theatrical movies and dance around the damning claims,” as some are comparing the situation to Johnny Depp’s involvement in the Pirates of the Caribbean and Frantastic Beasts franchises.

Representatives for Walt Disney Studios and Amazon MGM have not yet commented on the matter. Variety stated that a “rep for Leto declined to provide comment.”

News of Leto’s allegations was revealed Saturday. It was alleged by nine accusers that he allegely pursued them relentlessly, and some of them were allegedly underage. Beginning in the mid-to-late 2000s, it’s alleged that Leto exposed himself to them and allegedly engaged in harassment. He is also accused of allegedly using sexually aggressive language with a minor and of allegedly walking around naked in the presence of a 17-year-old while at his home. Leto has denied all allegations.

Other stars will likely promote their respective films, as it is possible that Leto will be taking a backseat. The cast of Tron: Ares includes Evan Peters, Greta Lee, and Gillian Anderson. Masters of the Universe is led by Nicholas Galitzine and Camila Mendes, while other high-profile names in the supporting cast include Idris Elba, Morena Baccarin, James Purefoy, and Alison Brie.
