Jamie Foxx Makes First Public Appearance Since Hospitalization, Affirming Recovery

Jamie Foxx has made his first public appearance since his sudden medical issue in April, which resulted in his hospitalization.  TMZ recently shared photographs of Foxx on the Chicago River, marking his first public appearance since the incident. The images depict Foxx looking healthy and energetic, he playfully flashed a peace sign to the cameraman while on a boat ride accompanied by other guests.

In the earlier months, Foxx had been admitted to an Atlanta hospital due to a medical complication. Confirming the situation, Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, provided reassurance that he was receiving prompt medical attention and was already making progress towards recovery. The family expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the support and prayers they received from fans, while also appealing for privacy during that difficult period.

Foxx subsequently released a personal statement expressing gratitude to his fans for their love and support, affirming that he feels blessed during his journey to regain health.

While undergoing hospitalization, Foxx was actively involved in the production of the Netflix movie Back in Action, where he appeared alongside Cameron Diaz. He was both the host and executive producer of the Fox game show Beat Shazam, which was launched back in 2017.
