

The first trailer for Michael was released on November 6th. Playing the leading man is Jaafar Jackson, son of Michael Jackson’s brother Jermaine Jackson, making Jaafar the real-life nephew of Michael Jackson, responsible for capturing his uncle’s signature style and energy. The ensemble cast includes Nia Long, Laura Harrier, and Juliano Krue Valdi as the young Michael, with supporting appearances from Miles Teller and Colman Domingo.
Written by John Logan and produced by Graham King, Michael promises a portrait of personal complexity, exploring different corners of Jackson’s life. While information about the film remains limited, the first trailer teases a powerful musical drama.
