Marvel Studios is continuing to build excitement over their forthcoming blockbuster Captain America: Civil War. The next chapter looks to be one of the most intense outings yet for the Avengers gang if the latest clip teased is any indication. Showcasing a powerful brawl between our divided superheros and Captain America’s frenemy Bucky Barnes (a.k.a. The Winter Solider), this clip also shows Black Panther (a.k.a. T’Challa) in combat duty. The latest superhero to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe makes an eagerly anticipated debut in the Civil War and is portrayed by rising actor Chadwick Boseman (42, Get on Up).
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Captain America: Civil War picks up with our crime-fighting team in the aftermath of last summer’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. All is not well is superhero land as events from the previous film puts forth legislation that severely divides the group. The team is now torn between loyalties and must choose what side they want to be on: Team Captain America or Team Iron Man. The core ensemble cast returns including Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) and Anthony Mackie (Falcon). Boseman and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will make their first official screen appearances.
