Hugh Grant Names The One Film Project He Wishes He Could Erase From His Resume

Actor Hugh Grant whipped his performance in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves in an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden alongside co-star Chris Pine. Corden lured Grant into a spirited play called “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts.” Where Corden asked the actor to name a movie in that Grant would cut out his résumé or he would have to eat a  worm mayonnaise shepherd’s pie. Grant found the task easy to answer.

Grant answered with The Lady and The Highwayman as a mistake. In the 1988 TV film, Grant played the role of Lord Lucius Vyne.

An article written by Deadline writes Grant’s answer when playing the game. “I’m a highwayman. I’m meant to be sexy,” Grant said. Instead, the film was “Low-budget, bad wig, bad hat. I look like Deputy Dawg. He continued, “When I’m tense, my voice goes up two octaves. Deputy Dawg would come leaping out of trees when a carriage would come past and go, ‘Stand and deliver!’”

Grant’s track record includes hits such as Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, Bridget Jones’s Diary, 2 Weeks Ahead, and Love Actually.
