‘Home Alone’ House Is Up For Rent By Kevin McCallister’s Brother

A recent Airbnb listing allows fans to experience a one-night-only stay at the original house from Home Alone. The house has been listed by Kevin McCallister’s brother, and is one of the most recent promotions that Airbnb has been putting out lately, allowing real-life filming spots from movies to be rented for fans.

Home Alone, which premiered in 1990, chronicles the life of Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin), as he awakens to an empty house amidst the holiday season, and assumes that his wish to have no family has become true. When a pair of burglars break inside, he must attempt to protect his home, which includes a series of handmade booby traps that put the actors Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern through the physical comedy wringer. The film is mostly taken place in the McCallister household, which makes it an iconic movie location.

The new listing on Airbnb, allegedly posted by Kevin McCallister’s older brother, will allow fans to book an exclusive one-night stay in the original house from Home Alone in Chicago, starting December 12, 2021. They will also be presented with a Home Alone-themed LEGO set, and Airbnb will be making a donation to Chicago’s La Rabida Children’s Hospital in honor of this special listing.

The Home Alone franchise has a numerous fans who are all eager to snatch an opportunity to spend a night in this iconic residence. It’s no surprise they’ll have to prepare when the listing goes up, as the chances of getting this opportunity are slim. Hopefully, whoever wins, will broadcast their experience on social media for everyone else to see.
