‘Hold Your Breath’ Gets Brand New Look Ahead Of Release

A new look has been given to the upcoming film Hold Your Breath. Hold Your Breath is a horror film from Searchlight Pictures, coming soon to Hulu.

Deadline reports that this movie is part of an already fairly sizable lineup for both Searchlight and Hulu. Kinds Of Kindness, the new film from Yorgos Lanthimos, also comes from Searchlight, and will release on Hulu as well, as well as Nightbitch and A Real Pain, among others.

Hold Your Breath focuses on a young mother and her family trying to survive the dust bowls in Oklahoma in the midst of the Great Depression.

Will Joines and Karrie Crouse are helming the project together, after working on a short film together in 2011. The duo worked together on a music video, dubbed Into The Depths, and a short film from 2016 called The Push, which also comes from the horror genre, akin to Hold Your Breath.

Crouse has also served as a writer on eight episodes of Westworld, and also on Sunset Television.

The film will feature Sarah Paulson, Annaleigh Ashford, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Bill Heck, and Amiah Miller.

Several new stills were released for Hold Your Breath, featuring a handful of the respective talents. The stills evoke the setting and tone of 1930’s Oklahoma that the synopsis suggests.

Hold Your Breath hits Hulu on October 3rd.
