Gen V, the spinoff of Prime Video’s The Boys, has released their official trailer. The series will premiere on the same platform as its predecessor, on Prime Video. The new series takes place in the same universe as The Boys, with the world expanding out to Godolkin University, described as “the prestigious, superhero-only college where students train to be the next generation of heroes–preferably with lucrative endorsements.”
In an email sent out to members, it noted the cast members for the show, which includes Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pigossi. Likewise, there are several cast members of The Boys that will appear as guest stars.
The description for the official trailer states, “Beyond the typical college chaos of finding oneself and partying, these kids are facing explosive situations … literally.”
The series is produced by several companies including Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios, as well as executive producers such as Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, along with Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters. The two also serve as showrunners for the series. Gen V will be available to watch on Prime Video on September 29th. Watch the trailer for the series here:
