The highly anticipated Frozen 2 will soon be available for streaming on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland. The animated film will release on Friday, two weeks ahead of the initially planned release date. Frozen 2 is already available for streaming in American, Australia, and the Netherlands.
“Frozen 2 has captivated audiences around the world through its powerful themes of perseverance and the importance of family, messages that are incredibly relevant during this time, and we are pleased to be able to share this heartwarming story early with our Disney+ subscribers to enjoy at home on any device,” said Disney CEO Bob Chapek.
Frozen 2, the followup sequel to 2013’s wildly popular Disney hit Frozen, follows Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven as they must once again save their kingdom from evil forces. The friends go on a musical filled adventure where they not only save the world but also strengthen their friendships.
With the Disney+ streaming service, Disney has been able to put all of their films on one platform for fans. The platform has been a great success, thanks in part to its vast library of classic Disney shows and movies, as well as original programs like the Star Wars show The Mandalorian. Frozen 2 features the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathon Groff, Josh Gad and Evan Rachel Wood.
