The suffering in Hollywood continues as Frozen 2 voice actress Rachel Matthews becomes the latest casualty to the coronavirus testing positive earlier this week according to The Hollywood Reporter. The 26 year-old actress, who lent her voice to the character of Honeymaren in Disney’s Frozen 2, issued a statement via Instagram earlier on Monday, confirming with her followers that she has isolated herself for the past week.
“Unsure of what the next step is (been getting mixed info so will keep you posted) but obviously will remain in quarantine until told to do otherwise,” she confirmed. “I’m feeling better, but I will be posting some info that I hope will be helpful to some,” she continued in the Instagram post.
Matthews currently resides in the United States and made the decision to receive testing following an encounter with someone who was a confirmed case. Matthews also mentioned that receiving testing is a rarity and something that what she describes is “INSANELY hard to come by.” She sadly joins fellow actors Idris Elba, Olga Kurylenko, and Kristofer Hivju, as well as Oscar-winner Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, who announced earlier this month that they both tested positive for COVID-19. It was reported earlier this week that Hanks and Wilson were making a major recovery in Australia.
