Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 5 is coming! Andrew Stanton is the director for the new film and was onstage at Disney’s D23 event announcing updates.
It will address the shift from traditional toys to the introduction of screen entertainment. Disney has contacted Tim Allen and Tom Hanks, beloved voice actors of Buzz Lightyear and Woody, for the two to potentially reunite for the new next film in the Toy Story franchise.
It will be released in theaters on June 19, 2026.
