Wizards of Waverly Place actor David Henrie has booked a monumental role in the indie biopic Reagan, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The historical drama will tell the story of Ronald Reagan from the perspective of KGB officer keeping tabs on the former president, spanning from his early days as an actor, SAG president, and vocal anti-communist. The story has been adapted by Howard Klausner (Space Cowboys) from the biographies by Paul Kengor. A director, as well as the remaining cast, have yet to be filled. This will be one of the young actor’s first starring roles in cinema; however, he is involved in several big projects for 2015. He will star in the partly animated film Max & Me, and appear in the biopic Walt Before Mickey, as well as Cardboard Boxer with Thomas Hayden Church (Sideways), Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, and the war drama Little Boy.
