Wizards of Waverly Place actor David Henrie has booked a monumental role in the indie biopic Reagan, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The historical drama will tell the story of Ronald Reagan from the perspective of a KGB officer keeping tabs on the former president, spanning from his early days as an actor, SAG president, and vocal anti-communist. The story has been adapted by Howard Klausner (Space Cowboys) from the biographies by Paul Kengor. A director, as well as the remaining cast, have yet to be filled. This will be one of the young actor’s first starring roles in cinema; however, he is involved in several big projects for 2015. He will star in the partly animated film Max & Me, and appear in the biopic Walt Before Mickey, as well as Cardboard Boxer with Thomas Hayden Church (Sideways), Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, and the war drama Little Boy.
