The first trailer for The Angry Birds Movie 3 has been released. It is the third entry in the film series based on the popular mobile game franchise of the same name, created by Rovio Entertainment, now a subsidiary of Sega. Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Rachel Bloom, and Danny McBride are all reprising their roles from the previous two movies.
This first trailer offers a look at the plot, which will follow the protagonist, Red (Sudeikis), as he navigates parenthood and raises three young birds with the help of his friends, Bomb (McBride) and Chuck (Gad). The entire trailer is made up of moments of parenting hijinks, whether it’s Red awkwardly speaking with his teenage children or Bomb and Chuck struggling to change a diaper.
In addition to the previously mentioned voice cast, The Angry Birds Movie 3 will feature a vast voice cast consisting of Emma Myers, Walker Scobell, Marcello Hernández, Tim Robinson, Lily James, Keke Palmer, Anna Cathcart, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Nikki Glaser, MrBeast, Salish Matter, Psalm West, Sam Richardson, and James Austin Johnson. The Angry Birds Movie 3 is directed by John Rice and written by Thurop Van Orman. The film is produced by Dan Chuba, Carla Connor, and Namit Malhotra. Production is handled by Rovio and Sega, alongside Prime Focus Studios, and is supported by partnerships with Flywheel Media, One Cool Group, and Dentsu.
