In this first official trailer for the fourth installment of the Jumanji franchise, Danny Devito and Danny Glover make their debut as Eddie Gilpin, the grandfather of Spencer (Alex Wolff), and Eddie’s friend Milo, respectively. Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Nick Jonas reprise their roles as the avatars of the game while Awkwafina joins the cast as a new avatar.

Jumanji: The Next Level follows Spencer’s friends Bethany, Fridge, and Martha as they discover that Spencer fixed the broken Jumanji game and decide to go rescue him. Unbeknownst to them, the three are followed into the game by Spencer’s grandfather Eddie and his friend Milo. With Eddie and Milo in the game, the gang’s avatars create a hilarious situation as Dwayne Johnson’s avatar is controlled by Eddie and Kevin Hart’s avatar is controlled by Milo, both having no clue where they are and what they are doing in the game, let alone their new appearances. With Bethany also gone missing, Martha and Fridge- the latter of whom finds himself stuck in Jack Black’s body- must help the clueless Eddie and Milo survive while also trying to stay out of harm’s way and find their missing friends.

The film is set to be released in the United States on December 13, 2019 by Sony Pictures. Watch the new trailer below:
