It’s a year of “lasts” for SNL alumnas Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. As they wrapped up their third and final year hosting the Golden Globe Awards last night, teaser for their film Sisters was released, about a pair of siblings determined to throw one last party in their childhood home before it’s sold. This will be the second film collaboration between the two actresses after 2008’s Baby Mama. Scripted by SNL-writer Paula Pell and directed by Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect), the Sisters cast also features Fey and Poehler’s peer Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids), as well as a slew of up-and-comers such as Greta Lee (St. Vincent), who appears in the teaser. Although the comedy’s December 18 release will be competing in the theaters against Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the Sisters party is sure to continue on regardless.
