Actor Timothée Chalamet, who rose to prominence with films such as Call Me By Your Name and Lady Bird, released the promotional poster for his upcoming film The King on social media today. Chalamet is portrayed in the image as his character King Henry V, also referred to as Hal. Here, viewers can see him don some heavy duty armor in the form of chain male and a breast plate.
In the film, Hal is reluctantly forced to assume the English throne after the death of his father. With this new responsibility, he is charged with fighting a war against France while simultaneously handling the challenges of royal life. The storyline is based on a series of plays written by William Shakespeare titled ‘Henriad.’
