First Look At Anne Hathaway And Jake Gyllenhaal’s New Movies – ‘The Idea of You’ And ‘Road House,’ Respectively

Amazon Prime Video released a teaser reel for all that is to come in 2024 for the streaming platform. Camila Mendes, Donald Glover, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, and Snoop Dogg were just some of the stars featured in the video as Amazon Prime Video gives audiences a taste of the exciting new content that is in store for the new year.

Among the movies that were featured in the reel, the first look at Jake Gyllenhaal’s new movie Road House, and Anne Hathaway’s new film The Idea Of You were seen in the video.

Road House is a remake of the 1989 film which starred Patrick Swayze. The movie follows Gyllenhaal’s character, a former UFC fighter, who takes a job as a bouncer at a seedy, rough-around-the-edges roadhouse in Florida, however, everything is not as it seems at the Floridian bar.

Gyllenhaal is joined by a star-studded cast including MMA champion Conor McGregor, Billy Magnussen, Daniela Melchior, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Lukas Gage, Hannah Love Lanier, Travis Van Winkle, B.K. Cannon, Arturo Castro, Dominique Columbus, Beau Knapp, and Bob Menery.

In a very different tone, a look at Anne Hathaway’s new film The Idea of You was also released in the teaser. The reel featured Anne Hathaway in an embrace with her co-star Nicholas Galitzine. The film is based on the novel of the same name by author Robinne Lee. The film tells the story of a single mother, who takes her daughter to Coachella, and falls in love with the lead singer of a boyband.

Whether you want to see Jake Gyllenhaal fight in Florida or Anne Hathaway fall in love at Coachella, it’s safe to say Amazon Prime Video has you covered in 2024. Watch Prime Video’s sizzle reel in the video above.
