Tyler Atkins upcoming directed movie titled, Beast In Me, is currently in production in both Australia and Bangkok where famed actor Russell Crowe is both starring in and co writing the script. Crowe will be joined by Daniel Macpherson, Luke Hemsworth, Kelly Gale, Mojean Aria, George Burgess, Bren Foster, Saphira Moran, and Amy Shark who is making her actor debut following her career as an Australian musician.

The film’s plot follows a fighter named Patton James played by Daniel Macpherson, who abandons his mixed martial arts career to be with his wife Luciana, played by Kelly Gale, and their son. James’ brother then becomes in debt to underworld gangsters and is beaten by them which causes James to avenge his brother in a ONE champion fight, with the help of a veteran trainer played by Crowe.

Tyler Atkins is in collaboration with ONE Championship which is an Asian martial arts franchise. One of the producers of Beast In Me, John Schwarz is qouted by saying,

“The world we’ve created is a true reflection of the sport to ensure the film resonates with fans. Our climactic scene was recently filmed in Thailand at a real ONE Championship fight environment with over 10,000 people. Our actors have trained tirelessly to ensure knockout performances that embody the explosive energy and emotion of MMA fights. We can’t wait for people to feel and see it on the big screen.”

Simarlarly, ONE CEO as well as its Chairman, Chatri Sityodtong stated,

Currently there is no known release date for the upcoming movie, but several images were made public.
