After patiently waiting for a year and a half, Daniel Craig’s last film as the royal British spy is finally coming out. In the early pandemic times, most movies that were scheduled to be released had to be pushed back due to cinemas shutting down. The latest James Bond film was one of the many victims that had to reschedule to an uncertain date.
But it seems that we finally have a final trailer, and yes, an actual release date.
The long-awaited fifth and final episode of the Daniel Craig Bond film series, No Time To Die, is said to release on October 8th, 2021.
It is fifteen years ago now that Daniel Craig first took the role of James Bond in Casino Royale. For fans of the saga, it means a goodbye to an actor who has revitalized a role and an entire franchise that was considered by many as old-fashioned. The newest trailer really lives up to the expectations as we see Bond involved in tons of action, secrets, existential crisis, love affairs, and more secrets.
James Bond is now enjoying the quiet life in beautiful Jamaica along with Madeleine Swann, played by Lea Seydoux, who you might remember from the previous Bond film Spectre. His retirement plans don’t last long as a dark secret about Madeleine comes to light thus forcing the Queen’s favorite superspy to be pulled back into action.
Old friends such as the CIA agent Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) and new ones such as the current 00 agent Nomi (Lashana Lynch) who has relieved Bond from his duty, will help him get to the bottom of things.
Bond villains with facial scars are almost as classic as Star Wars villains with helmets. Safin(Rami Malek) is no exception to the rule as he covers his face with a Phantom-of-the-Opera-looking mask, which is very ominous. Though it is unclear from the trailer what his motives truly are. All that is known is that he is, as many Bond villains tend to be, obsessed with James Bond, the MI-6, and big explosions.
