Universal Pictures has unveiled a new extended trailer for Fifty Shades Darker, the second installment in E.L. James’ mega-bestselling erotic trilogy. Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson return, once again, as billionaire Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in this sequel to the 2015 phenom that earned over $500 million at the worldwide box office.
The second chapter finds Christian determined to win Anastasia back. Yet, just the couple starts to turn over a new leaf, Christian’s dark past comes to the surface which threatens their chances at a happy ending. James Foley directs from a screenplay credited by Niall Leonard (James’ real-life husband). The ensemble cast includes Eric Johnson, Jennifer Ehle, Victor Rasuk, Luke Grimes, Rita Ora, Eloise Mumford, Max Martini, Bella Heathcote and Oscar winners Kim Basinger and Marcia Gay Harden.
