Fantastic Fest has just unveiled the forty short films it will be showing during its 2015 lineup. The shorts run the gamut of genres from horror to sci-fi to action to the hard define. Amongst them is festival hit, winner of Sundance’s Grand Jury Prize for Short Film, winner of Best Animated Short at SXSW, and personal favorite of at least one of our writers, Dan Hertzfeldt’s World of Tomorrow. Another Fantastic Fest short that’s caught our attention before is Portal to Hell!!! which stars the recently deceased professional wrestler/actor “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.
Fantastic Fest 2015 runs in Austin, Texas from September 24th to October 1st.
