The winners of the 27th annual Fantasia International Film Festival were recently revealed with Red Rooms and Femme each taking home a highly sought award. The Best Feature winner at the 27th annual Fantasia International Film Festival was Red Rooms, winning three awards. Additionally, the director Sam H. Freeman and Ng Choon Ping of Femme won Best Director. The genre fest’s jury said,
The ultimate effect a film can achieve is to implant a significant and lasting emotional memory… The jury was unanimously convinced that [Red Rooms] masterfully accomplished that goal.
