The Caped Crusader has been popping up in headlines quite frequently as of late, thanks to Matt Reeves’ sequel to The Batman steadily moving forward. With casting announced for the film’s main villain, fans are beginning to channel their talents into creations for the movie, with one in particular making some visually striking custom posters.
Robert Pattinson is reprising his role in the sequel as Batman, having just saved Gotham City from the Riddler and his deadly plans in the previous film. As for the sequel, Batman will seemingly be pitted against none other than Two-Face once again, as Scarlett Johansson has been cast in the film as his wife, Gilda Dent. MCU alumnus Sebastian Stan is reportedly being eyed for the role of Harvey Dent, as ScreenRant reports.
While many fans are already keeping their fingers crossed that Stan will play Dent, one fan on X decided to make some custom posters of Pattinson’s Batman and Stan’s Two-Face. The one for Batman has a shadow cast across his face, in just the right pattern that reveals only what one would see of him with his cowl on.
Similarly, the one for Two-Face, made by user JackyWackyDC, uses shadows as well, but casts them so only the right side of Stan’s face is visible. Historically, Two-Face has only had the right side of his face stay intact, while the left side winds up sporting the scarred features the character is known for. Although the film is still a long way out, the custom poster does give fans an idea of what Stan could look like as Two-Face.
The Batman: Part II hits theaters October 1st, 2027.
