‘F9’ Gets New Revamp Trailer for Super Bowl

The Fast and Furious saga continues with its trend of being heavily advertised during the Super Bowl. Even with the release of the first trailer only a few days ago, Universal made a revamped 30 second spot for the upcoming F9.

This new trailer is more or less a condensed version of the one released a few days prior, showcasing a lot of the same footage. Many returning characters come back on one last ride with Dom Toretto stating that, “If we do this, we lose everything.” With a dramatic version of Hallelujah in the background, we see a constant barrage of cars flipping over and other crazy action setpieces. The ad ends very similarly to the first trailer, with Dom and Letty driving off a cliff with the car grappled to a bridge rope.

While little is shown of what made the last trailer talked about- the return of Han- it still promises the same over the top action that Fast movies are known for. A rather appropriate ad for a game as high energy and testosterone-fueled as the Super Bowl.

F9 is set for release May 22nd 2020. Watch the Full Trailer Below:

Ryan Pineda: When it comes to film, animation, video games and other mediums, I can discuss for hours about how much on why certain films and animated media made me the person I am today. I adore the artistic merit that comes from a lot of pop-culture media and will definitely love to have a conversation about favorite movies any day! I have graduated in 2017 with a BA in Film and Television at the University of Arizona. Been passionate about writing about films due to always having an interesting outlook on the medium. Will always see a film and will definitely be sure to recommend it to someone that I know for a fact would love that movie. Not only that but will also give reasons for why I think that film did or did not work as a movie, and the same can go for other pieces of media like television, video games and especially animated projects.
