Ewan McGregor and his daughter Clara McGregor have joined forces in new movie Bleeding Love. The pair star in the film and have released the single Seabird together for the movie. The song was released on February 16th alongside the movie which was also premiered the same day.

Seabird is produced and composed by Raven Artson, who re-arranged the original song by the Alessi Brothers. Ewan McGregor and Clara McGregor’s version retains the original heart of the song, but with newly added warm and an indie feel. Along with Seabird, Artson composed the entire soundtrack for the film taking sounds from nature and creating a unique auditory realm to compliment the film’s storyline.

This is not the first time that Ewan McGregor has proven his musical abilities. The actor played Christian in the musical movie Moulin Rouge!, as well as, Lumiere in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. This, however, marks the music debut for McGregor’s daughter, Clara. Her previous acting accolades include Christopher Robin (2018), The Birthday Cake (2021),and Reefa (2021).

Bleeding Love is directed by Emma Westenberg and follows the story of a father, played by Ewan McGregor, who struggling with addiction, takes his estranged daughter to rehab following her own overdose.

Bleeding Love premiered in the US on February 16th along with the single Seabird. The full motion picture soundtrack is set to be released on February 23rd.
