Easily one of the biggest losses of 2018 was the beloved man who brought life to the entire world of Marvel. Stan Lee was a legend to many and so many people, whether they are hardcore fans of Marvel or not, always look forward to seeing a neat cameo from him in the next big Marvel movie. Unfortunately, with his death, everyone knows that the cameos are coming to an end. Avengers: Endgame director, Joe Russo, confirmed that Endgame may very well be the last time fans will witness a Stan Lee cameo.
During a recent Marvel event in India for Endgame, Russo broke the news. He also stated, “I don’t remember if he was well enough to do a cameo for Spider-Man Homecoming”. This makes sense considering prior to Lee’s death, his health conditions were worsening. He also discussed how it was an honor to always work with Stan, being that he helped bring life to some of his childhood icons. Footage from that interview during the event can be seen on Twitter with the link provided below.

As sad as it is not being able to see Stan Lee in future Marvel films, it is reassuring that his final appearance will be made in possibly the biggest Marvel film to date. Regardless of what happens in the film, audiences will be glad to see Stan Lee in a cameo one last time.
