‘Enchanted’ Sequel ‘Disenchanted’ Coming To Disney+ in November

Disney+ prepares to release the Enchanted (2007) sequel, Disenchanted on November 24th, 2022. Although it has been 15 years since the original, fans are excited about the sequel.

Adam Shankman directs and includes a lot of familiar faces to the Disney universe and the previous film, Enchanted. Most notably Amy Adams, who played the naïve and fun-loving princess Giselle, is returning. The film will also include returning cast members: Patrick Dempsey and Idina Menzel. The movie will have a few new faces, like Maya Rudolph. We do not know much about her character yet, outside her being a villain.

The sequel takes a different approach than the original plot and is filled with a few twists and turns. It takes place 10 years after the original story ends. Giselle and her new family decide to move out of the city. Giselle, Robert (Patrick Dempsey), Robert’s daughter Morgan and their new baby decide to move into a fixer-upper in the suburbs and have to adjust to their new lifestyle.

The trailer shows Giselle wishing for a fairytale life, but the wish does not exactly go as planned. She discovers that her idea of “happy ever after” can’t have the same form in her current world.
