Emma Corrin Announced To Play Villain Of ‘Deadpool 3’

Emma Corrin, known for their work in The Crown (2016), My Policeman (2022), and Lady Chatterley’s Lover (2022), has been announced via Deadline to be playing the villain of Deadpool 3. Corrin joins alongside Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, and Hugh Jackman’s wolverine.

Reynolds has already welcomed Corrin to the franchise on Twitter.

Corrin also made an Instagram post celebrating the announcement.

This will be the first film in the Deadpool series to both be produced by Marvel Studios and also take place in the MCU. Co-writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese are returning to write the third film.

Shawn Levy is set to direct the film. He is known for his work in Night at the Museum (2006), Stranger Things (2016), Arrival (2016), and Free Guy (2021).

Levy has assured fans that the third film will be violent like the last two films.

“It is so delicious to hear and write and come up with these scenes where people are just talking foul,” Levy said to Collider. “And the violence is in your face and hardcore, and it’s very much a ‘Deadpool’ movie.”

Fans are already speculating what comic villain Corrin may take on. Regardless, it is pretty safe to assume Corrin’s character will be a big contributor to the violence in the film.
