Elisabeth Moss Starring In New Film ‘Run Rabbit Run’

After the success of The Invisible Man, Elisabeth Moss has proven that she’s capable of taking to the big screen as well as television. Now, Moss is to star in a new horror film directed by Daina Reid called Run Rabbit Run, for which Moss also has a producer credit. Moss and Reid already have rapport, as Reid directed several episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale.

Moss plays a fertility doctor named Sarah, who is struggling with her daughter Mia’s strange behavior, and is haunted by a ghost from her past. The script for Run Rabbit Run comes from an original idea by novelist Hannah Kent, developed by Carver Films. Along with Moss, Lindsay McManus, Anna McLeish, and Sarah Shaw have producer credits, and XYZ Films is credited as executive producer. XYZ is financing Run Rabbit Run as part of its $100 million war chest to produce more genre films, sponsored by the Finnish venture capital company IPR.VC, in conjunction with Screen Australia.

The film is being shot in Australia, where many filmmakers are shooting their films now due to lower rates of COVID-19 cases. Moss recently appeared in The French Dispatch, directed by Wes Anderson, which is one of the selected films for this year’s Cannes Film Festival catalog.

Moss is repped by WME, Independent Talent Group and Ribisi Entertainment Group. Reid is repped by RGM Artists and ICM Partners.

Catherine Krueger: Catherine, or "Ren" as she is called by her friends, is 23 years old and has recently graduated from Sam Houston State University, earning a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film and TV Production. She hopes to one day direct and produce her own films. In her spare time she writes scripts and shoots videos for her YouTube channel.
