Disney is already meticulously preparing for their big Christmas debut this year, the long-awaited Avatar: Fire and Ash. While Avatar fans can finally return to Pandora, Marvel fans may get a similar treatment with early trailer rumors for Fire and Ash.

At this point, the release of Avengers: Doomsday is well over a year away, but once Fire and Ash rolls around, it’ll only be just a year out. Doomsday was originally scheduled for a summer 2026 release, but got delayed to December of that year, filling the company’s usual blockbuster slot for the holidays.

Early reports indicate that the first teaser for Avengers: Doomsday could be attached to Fire And Ash when it hits cinemas. Daniel Richtman on X claimed that this will be the case, but it is important to bear in mind that nothing is set in stone as of yet.

MovieWeb noted that, while just a rumor at this stage, the strategy of putting the Doomsday trailer ahead of Fire And Ash is a concept Disney has grown comfortably accustomed to. It was a Marvel movie that hosted the first trailer for Fire and Ash, with it premiering exclusively in front of Fantastic Four: First Steps in its opening weekend. Similarly, Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness had the exclusive first teaser for Avatar: The Way of Water back during its debut weekend in 2022.
