Frozen 2 is one of Disney’s most highly anticipated releases for the upcoming winter season, offering Disney Animation fans the studio’s biggest non-Pixar sequel after Ralph Breaks the Internet. A new sneak peak for the film was released online, offering not only some new footage but even a peak at the film’s soundtrack.
Much like the previous trailers, this sneak peak gives us the the setup of Elsa being told to adventure out to locate the truth about her past. The sequel seems to be delivering a more adventurous tone compared to the first, with many action set pieces seen here. This includes the gang getting trapped in a tornado, Elsa fending off against a mysterious fire and Kristoff and Anna running away from a giant rock monster. However, the main takeaway is that fans get a peak of what the film’s soundtrack sounds like for the very first time. This includes Into the Unknown, a song sung by Elsa that certainly adds to the film’s scale and sounds much more grandiose compared to the first movie. Being Elsa’s big solo number, it seems Robert and Kristen Anderson Lopez have potentially made another Let It Go.
With the stunning animation and huge soundtrack, Frozen 2 might just be the biggest animated movie to come out this year and a must-see for the holiday season. For Disney fans, Frozen 2 definitely looks worth the wait.
Frozen 2 is set for release November 22nd 2019. Watch the sneak peak below:
