It has been a few months since San Diego Comic-Con and the D23 Expo where Disney announced Stage Four of their Marvel Universe Films slated through 2023. However, it was announced on Friday that five new Marvel films will be joining the line up. The announcement comes a few days after Disney’s new streaming service Disney+ was announced. This is where you will find most of the MCU films and the upcoming Marvel shows including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, Marvel’s What If…, and Hawkeye, which are all slated to premiere in 2020 and 2021.
At D23 and Comic-Con, Marvel announced the release dates of several films: Black Widow out May 1, 2020, The Eternals out November 6, 2020, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings out February 12, 2021, Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness out May 7, 2021, Thor: Love and Thunder out November 5, 2021, and Black Panther 2 out May 6, 2022.
The new and untitled films are scheduled for Oct. 7, 2022, Feb. 17, 2023, May 5, 2023, July 28, 2023, and Nov. 3, 2023. There has been some speculation as to which films these may be, since Disney has announced future plans for films but has not yet connected the dots for us. Among the guesses are Ant-Man 3, Blade, Captain Marvel 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
