Since March 2024, Hulu content has been available to watch on Disney+ for those who subscribe to the Disney+ and Hulu streaming bundle. Much of the content on Hulu, which is R-rated, has seen considerable streaming success on Disney+ and is commonly seen at the top of Disney+’s streaming rankings, from the Deadpool movies to the recently released Predator: Killer of Killers.
With Predator: Badlands upcoming, Disney+ has plenty of films to prepare for its release in November. The most obvious film would be Predator: Killer of Killers, the other Predator movie released this year and directed by Badlands‘ Dan Trachtenberg. Trachtenberg’s previous Predator movie, 2022’s Prey, as well as many other previous entries in the Predator franchise, are all also available to stream on Disney+.
Also recently added to the service are other similar films that scratch the R-rated Sci-fi horror itch of the Predator franchise. 28 Weeks Later, the sequel to 28 Days Later, is currently available to stream on Disney+. The film was a decent critical and financial success during its release in 2007, standing at a positive 73% critical score on Rotten Tomatoes and making $72.3 million at the box office. Not only does 28 Weeks Later have a similar emphasis on horror and gore as the Predator franchise, but it can also prepare you for the recently released 28 Years Later, which is still playing in theaters.
Alien: Romulus, like Predator: Badlands, is another new entry in a popular 20th Century Studios franchise available to stream on Disney+. The film was a significant success when it was released in August of last year, making $350.9 million and receiving a Best Visual Effects nomination at this year’s Academy Awards. It also received largely positive reviews, receiving an 80% critical score on Rotten Tomatoes.
All these films and more are currently streaming on Disney+ with the Disney+ and Hulu bundle.
