Deadpool & Wolverine smashes expectations in the opening weekend, making $438.3M worldwide: $233.3M internationally, and $205M domestically.
According to Deadline Reporting, Deadpool & Wolverine’s opening weekend makes it the biggest R-rated opening of all time domestically and globally. It surpasses Deadpool which made $264M and overtook Joker which made $147M. Along with this, Deadpool & Wolverine is the biggest opening, domestically and internationally, of this year as well as the biggest opening weekend since Avatar: Ways of Water was released in 2022.
The Top 10 opening weekends were from China at $24M, the UK at $22.1M, Mexico at $18.7M, Australia making $13M, Germany at $10M, Brazil making $10M, India at $10M, France from $9.4M, Korea at $8.3M and Italy at $7.5M according to Deadline.
