Deadpool 3, starring Ryan Reynolds, has announced they will soon be going into production. Alongside Reynolds, Hugh Jackman will be co-starring in his famous role of Wolverine. Jackman has been teasing the audience about the relationship the two characters will undergo in the movie.
After being asked in an interview to rate the relationship between the character, Deadline shares Jackman’s response:
“How do I categorize it? Ten being really close, zero being the reality, we’re zero, we’re opposites, hate each other,” he said on The Empire Film Podcast (via ComicBook). “I’m just talking from my perspective, [Logan’s] frustrated by him, wants to be a million miles away from him or wants to punch him in the head. Unfortunately, he can’t be a million miles away from him in this movie, so I’m probably going to punch him in the head a lot.”
Jackman recently spoke about how Wolverine will be resurrected and integrated into the MCU, assuring fans that Deadpool 3 won’t ruin Logan’s timeline.
Jackman’s return to portray Wolverine was announced at the annual D23 Disney fan convention. Deadpool 3 is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 2023.
