Warner Bros prepares a new DC film “Black Adam” as a new feature film in its superhero franchise. The character is already a part of the universe and it’s mentioned throughout other comics, but this is the first time he is emerging and getting its own focus.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson makes his superhero Debut alongside Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, and many others in the DC movie as Teth “Black” Adam. The film is under the direction of Jaume Collet-Serra and was adapted from a screenplay written by Adam Sztykiel and Rory Haines & Sohrab Noshirvani, based on characters created by Bill Parker and C.C Beck.
The story follows the action adventures of Teth Adam and his exploration of his powers in the universe. In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was given “almighty powers of the gods” but instead of using his powers for good, he focused on vengeance, causing him to be imprisoned. The story picks up when he is released 5000 years later and we find out whether Black Adam is a villain, or, maybe a hero after all.
