Action fans rejoice, as more information into the new film starring Dave Bautista, Trap House, has been announced.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, more cast members to co-star with the Guardians of the Galaxy star have just been released.
Trap House is an action film that focuses on an undercover DEA agent in El Paso, Texas, who is tracking down a group of thieves who are robbing from a cartel. However, the thieves would turn out to be the agents’ rebellious teenagers and are even using their tactics and intelligence to carry out the heist.
Along with Bautista, the new cast members will include Jack Champion (Avatar: The Way of Water), Sophia Lillis (Asteroid City), Kate del Castillo (The Cleaning Lady), Tony Dalton (Better Call Saul), Whitney Peak (Hocus Pocus 2) and Bobby Cannavale (Old Dads).
The film is currently in production and will be produced by Signature Films, which is part of the U.K. indie film distributor Signature Entertainment. It will be directed by Michael Dowse, who has worked with Bautista before on the 2019 action comedy Stuber.
The script was written by Fast & Furious creator Gary Scott Thompson and Tom O’Connor, who has written both of The Hitman’s Bodyguard films.
Currently Trap House has no release date for either a trailer or the film itself.
