The nominations for the upcoming Costume Designers Guild Awards have been announced.
The film nominees comprise the following three categories: contemporary film, period film, and sci-fi/fantasy film. The modern film nominations include Challengers, Conclave, Emilia Perez, The Fall Guy and The Substance. The period film nominations include The Book of Clarence, Gladiator II, Maria, Nosferatu, and Saturday Night. The final nominations for sci-fi/fantasy include Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Borderlands, Dune: Part Two, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and Wicked.
The TV categories are separated into four categories: contemporary TV, period TV, sci-fi/ fantasy TV, and Variety/Reality-Competition TV. Some of the nominees include Agatha All Along, Baby Reindeer, Emily in Paris, The Gentlemen, Hacks, Bridgerton, Feud, Palm Royale, Ripley, Shogun, Dune: Prophecy, Fallout, House of Dragon, Lord of the Rings, Dancing with the Stars, The Masked Singer and Saturday Night Live.
The host is yet to be revealed for the 27th Costume Designers Guild Awards. The ceremony will occur on Feb. 6, 2025, at The Ebell of Los Angeles.
