Art The Clown ranks among cinema’s most gruesome slasher icons and has become a cult hit sensation for moviegoers and horror fans alike. Created by filmmaker Damien Leone, Art first appeared in Leone’s original, non-studio-funded short films. Cinematically debuting in Damien Leone’s horror anthology, All Hallow’s Eve, Art eventually got his own film franchise titled Terrifier. Terrifier has been excessively popular in terms of fan base and so far has garnered two sequels, with the third only being released several months ago before the holidays.
Leone recently made a post on Instagram during his birthday on January 29, confirming his next project, Terrifier 4 will be the conclusion to Art’s saga and reveal his mysterious origin story. His post stated,
“The script for Terrifier 4 is under way and it is shaping up to be the most epic, horrifying, thrilling, emotional and satisfying conclusion to the Terrifier saga. I’ve personally never been so excited to see one of my own scripts translate to the screen like this one. P.S. I will finally reveal origin in this entry.”
With this puzzling post, Art The Clown fans can hope to expect his official origin and see his grotesque conclusion on the silver screen. So far, nothing is confirmed yet as to the plot of Terrifier 4, but judging from Leone’s recent post, Art’s fans will not be disappointed as to what will be conceived in Leone’s imagination and projected onto theaters in 2026.
