Comedy ‘Queenpins’ Adds Vince Vaughn & Paul Walter Hauser To Join Leslie Jones and Kristen Bell

Leslie Jones and Kristen Bell have been joined by Vince Vaughn and Paul Walter Hauser as co-stars for the cast of the new counterfeiting comedy Queenpins. Pre-production will begin in Los Angeles by late summer and a scheduled shoot will take place later this year.

Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly (Beneath the Harvest Sky), the Emmy-nominated husband and wife team, will write and direct the film. Inspired by the true story of the largest coupon counterfeit in U.S. history, the movie will center around two suburban housewives (played by Bell and Jones) who discover a way to make money with fake coupons. As they continue their little scheme, they quickly find themselves in over their heads with a $40M criminal venture on their hands.

AGC Studios, Aloe Entertainment and Marquee Entertainment were recently joined by independent financier Align to co-produce the project and provide financing. Head of Production for AGC, Linda McDonough, will produce through her Marquee Entertainment banner along with Adrian Politowski and Martin Metz of Align in association with Aloe Entertainment’s Mary Aloe and Ludascript’s Gillian Hormel. AGC’s Stuart Ford, Miguel Palos and Anik Decoste serve as executive producers.

CAA Media Finance represents U.S. distribution rights and also arranged the film’s financing. Rocket Science is handling international sales.
