Clint Eastwood’s Juror No. 2 has recruited Zoey Deutch to star alongside Nicholas Hoult (X-Men) and Toni Collette (Hereditary). Deutch has been in The Suite Life on Deck (2010), The Disaster Artist (2017), The Politician (2019), Zombieland: Double Tap (2019), and Not Okay (2022).
The film aims to shoot sometime this summer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The logline of the Eastwood film reads:
Juror No. 2 follows family man Justin Kemp (Hoult), who, while serving as a juror in a high-profile murder trial, finds himself struggling with a serious moral dilemma … one he could use to sway the jury verdict and potentially convict — or free — the wrong killer.
The script, written by Jonathan Abrams, was passed around through Hollywood for fifteen years before it was finally picked up by Eastwood last year. Eastwood is producing the film with former production president of Paramount Adam Goodman.
Also producing are Tim Moore, Matt Skiena, and Jessica Meier. Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Jeremy Bell of The Gotham Group are executive producing. (Via The Hollywood Reporter)
The summary for the film on IMDB reads:

Hoult will play the juror member, Justin Kemp, while Collette plays the prosecutor, and Deutch plays Hoult’s wife.
