Netflix has released the official trailer for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. The film is expected to be the conclusion to Thomas Shelby’s character after six seasons. The trailer shows that Thomas Selby (Cillian Murphy) has just returned from his self-imposed exile to find the kingdom far different from how he remembered.
Rebecca Ferguson has joined the cast of the film, and her character tells Shelby in the trailer, “You abandoned your kingdom. You abandoned your son.” With the Peaky Blinders in ruin and the war with Germany escalating, Thomas Shelby decides that it is time to get back in action. In the trailer, they say, “I figured you decided this wasn’t your war.” Shelby responds with, “It is now.” Cillian Murphy is, of course, returning as Thomas Shelby for the film, with a variety of new and old faces beside him.
The ensemble cast includes Rebecca Ferguson, Barry Keoghan, Tim Roth, Sophie Rundle, and Stephen Graham. The Immortal Man will serve as the final chapter in Thomas Shelby’s story as well as the conclusion to the Peaky Blinders TV series. However, it will not be the end of Peaky Blinders, as Netflix has already commissioned a sequel series following the film. Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man will hit select theaters on March 6 and release on Netflix on March 20.
